US congress has approved a ban to TikTok If chinese parent company Bytedance don’t sell it. But it says it has no intention of selling the business after the US passed a law to force it to sell the hugely popular video app or be banned in America.

“ByteDance doesn’t have any plans to sell TikTok,” Bytedance said in statement on Chinese social media Toutiao.

It comes after foreign media has explored the options to the future of social media in US after congress has approved a law which sell or ban TikTok in US until 2025 in cause of data of US citizens can be share to Chinese government to put in danger US national security.

“Politicians on both sides of the aisle must pool our strength to deal with the current economic crisis. The Democratic Party will lead the way in solving the livelihood crisis,” he told reporters.
